Up early and further editing of yesterday's tapes and added to an iPod for on the go listening...

Today was the day of Anne's "long walk" - 3 hours across the Pentlands with chum Teresa and her black lab Mac...

Anne is a lady of few (but, generally, good) pics...

Meanwhile, your correspondent was down in Stockbridge shelling out on more nonsense...

This for 50p, as it gives a shout out to Michael Rother in the credits...

It's actually quite good...

This box for £4, as the interesting outweighed the absolute pish full of synthesised panflutes, of which there's quite a lot...

Used to have this smooth item on LP, although, strangely, not on my list so, must have been beyond 1983...

And I had this previously on CD - it's quite good, in a Frankie kind of way...

Finally, an excellent condition replacement...

...for a not excellent condition ex-library disc...

In the evening, the upcoming reissue of "The Beatles" (White Album) prompted a playlist of double LPs, almost all of which are better IMHO - although I do like the fab four's effort - but a multi disc box set of outtakes of an album that seems already full of out takes?

Hmmmm...

What we really need re "The Beatles" is the cut down single LP version...

I can't believe the gullibility being relied upon here - no, wait, I can, because it's the world's most over-rated group...

A group I do actually like, despite said continual over-rating...

Anyway, here are the double albums...

Today's artwork, "A Better Replacement"...

On telly, we beat the Paris branch of University of London quite easily, in one of the worst ever episodes of "University Challenge"...

The rest of my evening was taken up with double albums...

As is the way...

Highlight of the Day :  Double LPs...
