A long, long day, broken up by a wee visit to the BHF and a couple of CD purchases Pharoah Sanders...

...and a disc of chamber music by, new to me English composer, Kenneth Leighton...

Finally a bus along to the top of Leith Walk to meet up with the EP, Jane and Bob for a slap up at Kushi's (not pictured)...

Yum...

Out into the twilight, noting the cranes re the redesign of the area on which once stood the St James Centre...

Into the Playhouse...

...for tonight's entertainment, Paul McCaffrey, who did pretty well as an opener, followed by the excellent Kevin Bridges...

Observational comedy at its best and, of course, based on experiences experienced in Scotchland, so all the more pertinent to the sold out audience (he's doing four nights)...

A bus home, reciting various lines from the evening...

On the downside, a txt from Olly advised he'd failed the theory for his driving test...

Oh well, a resit beckons...

Today's artwork, "Crane Skyline"...

Highlight of the Day : Kevin Bridges...
