Up early and podcast advertised on the Twitter, having uploaded it at midnight to save time...

This was also assembled last night ready for this morning...

To Helen the Podiatrist at 9:15 - I have had a problem with my right foot for a while now - suggested remedies have been suggested...

Back home, quick breakfast, car loaded and then, out to Roslin...

The stage was being assembled...

Soundcheck revealed some problems which were eventually overcome and the sound was sounding good - out front anyway- as ever, it was pretty rubbish on the stage for the players...

Nonetheless, equipment moved back to afford space to other performances and prize givings...

Overseen by drummer Johnny...

This might have been our audience but was not...

Fancy dress judging...

...while the band enjoyed coffee and other stuff...

Chloe was up for a prize...

...but lost out to two friends dressed as unicorns...

Oh well...

Support band was a local choir...

The chaps were getting nervous...

Johnny hiding it well whilst chatting to the other John who was to have been the soundman had he not broken his arm...

Some last minute prep for Paul after the stage had been reset...

Chloe entertained with acrobatics...

This small child led us onstage at 2:15...

An hour later, the audience dispersed...

Need a new cover for the mic...

Lotsa visitors, mostly here to hear Stu...

Great to see Lesley and Gillian and, indeed, Mrs Prog again - she and Doctor Prog (Johnny's brother) were front and centre, Lesley and Gillian and their children dancing up the back with Stu's mum...

The take down...

Listening back to the tape in the car on my way home via a quick visit to my mum - drums very loud, Stu's guitar almost non existent - there had been a problem at the soundcheck with his FX box leading to him having to go directly into the desk - in hindsight, I ought to have compensated by boosting his output a little...

The hour long set went down really well with all and sundry - good reports re both performance and sound from known and unknown audients - a good sign...

We will continue...

On leaving my mum's, the starling family was on the aerials...

Home and set up restored...

...and this had arrived from America...

Good listening...

And good wins at footie - Hearts beating St Mirren 4-1 (hence the EP's no show at the gig) and Queens thrashing league leaders Ayr Utd in Dumfries 5-0 (Dobbie getting 4 - and missed a penalty)...

In the evening, tasty pasta, some music listening - the trawl through purchases from 2013 onwards re updating my charts...

Then some reading re Rheostatics...

A good day all round - if any pics arrive re the performance, I'll add them later...

Here we go...
