Up super early as usual...

...and to properly listening to around twenty of last night's Eurovision entries...

Many were actually a lot better than their performances in the competition suggested...

Lithuania and Portugal remained my faves, I finally got the death metal of Hungary's entry, Cyprus probably wasn't as good without the dancing, I'd forgotten about Albania and the winning entry from Israel was a lot better when only listening to the music - so, kind of, the opposite of Cyprus...

Anyway, that' probably enough Eurovision - till I come to record this week's podcast...

Toyed with the idea of moving my LPs into the computer room re the new home for the turntable and, indeed, tried it out whilst listening to some German New Wave...

...but, eventually, decided against...

In the afternoon, with Keith, out to Johnny's for today's band practise - Johnny's in laws were there briefly...

...and Moira and Chloe also entertained...



...and Stu was back...

It was a good session but still with loads of errors...

It seems we will definitely play live on 1 September..

Keith dropped me and all the equipment at my mum's for my weekly visit and Anne met me there...

Once again a problem with her TV, the volume having gone lower - which should be impossible given her button access...

I fixed it but could not explain what had gone wrong...

In the evening, a "Midsomer Murders" and some listening back to today's tapes...
