Up at 7...

Pouring...

Writing this and tidying up the iPod Touch...

By the time Anne arose, the rain had stopped and things were looking more promising...

Poached eggs...

...on toast for breakfast...

And out...

...to Exeter...

The Roman Wall...

To the underground tunnels, built in the 14th Century to bring water into the city...

An interesting tour...

Up to ground level again, some shopping...

I'd forgotten how much I used to enjoy looking round HMV - bought the first three Scott Walker CDs and a couple of classical titles, Takemitsu and York Bowen...

Coffee and cake...

...and back to the car for the drive to Bickleigh...

Mister Quartet...

...and his Exec Producer, appeared to have been here before...

The bird on the thatched roof is either the thatcher's trademark or something to ward off witches and birds...

Sandwiches were enjoyed for lunch...

On to Tiverton...

Another small English town, another church...

...and a closed today castle...

...and an unpictured Crediton, where some pasta for tea was acquired...

Home and the 1st three episodes of series one of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" enjoyed (the DVD box set having been acquired in Tiverton for just one of your English pounds)...

Home made tea and, then, a walk...

... to the nearby "The Lamb"...

...for drinks...

...and more drinks...

We will return on Friday...

Home and some TV watched, this caught up with and Scott Walker listened to...

Today's artwork, "Going Underground"...

To bed with a quartet...

Highlight of the Day : Going underground and new music...
