It took a while to become a scorcher...
The beast was about its business, having visited Fopp at lunchtime and, once again, partaken of nothing...
Music listening comprised this week's podcast shortlist followed by the Italian and Spanish versions of the latest Laura Pausini then the iPod on shuffle - albums of the year 1967-2018 plus around the last 150 or so acquisitions...
And then, music from 1969...
On Twitter, Sid Smith was asking people for their one fave LP of 1969...
I chose "In the Court of the Crimson King" by King Crimson...
My 10 from that year are in this chat-less podcast...
Some of the suggestions led me to check all my 1969 albums, around 85 in all but some suggestions which I knew I had weren't in this selection...
Turns out I have around 5,000 LPs in my iTunes without a release date recorded...
So I made a playlist of those, deleted all classical and various artist collections then went through the rest, painstakingly removing live LPs and compilations...
Now I have 1,432 LPs of which I "have to" determine the release year...
And this is how a new project arises...
Prior to this, this week's "Agents of Shield" was enjoyed while Anne cooked an excellent pasta...
Ended the day with a particularly ungood episode of "Holby City"...
