Not up as early today but still early...

The view...

Breakfast at home...

Some planning...

...and out, to nearby Moretonhampstead...

...with its "Messy" church...

...and strange National Trust owned house...

...and other good buildings...

Two 3CD box sets purchased in Brainwaves charity shop for a quid each, classical and country, the latter enjoyed in the car - all the greats, all the hits...

On to the Miniature Pony Centre...

...and their various chums...

These wee lams were favourites...

...as were the neighbouring goats...

More ponies...

..and crows...

...and other birds, including this noisy rooster...

Rabbits and Guinea Pigs...

Mice...

...and a ferret (from the Latin for "thief" apparently)...

Even more ponies...

Played like twin keyboards...

Heavy horses - endangered...

Past the lakes...

...to the pigs...

A final look at the donkeys...

...followed by the almost inevitable cake...

On to nearby village, Chagford...

...with its church, dating from 1261...

A wander around the town...

...before driving to Drogo Castle and a very enjoyable walk around part of its surrounding land...

Stones were acquired along with Ginger Beer and coffee...

Home...

In the evening over to Exeter and Ghandi's for a very tasty curry...

...before a constitutional around the town...

The light was better on the cathedral and environs this evening...

Home for "21 Jump Street" some ripping and listening and bed...

Today's artwork, "Fruit in the Morning Sun"...

Highlight of the Day : Villages and animals...

That looks lovely. Guy’s Dad lives in Exeter, so we’ve benn around there a few times. Guy’s Dad insists Sidmouth is the most beautiful place in the world? Maybe you’ll visit it.
