Record Store Day today - which means nothing to me other than reminding people that every day is Record Store Day and it really ought to be about Record Stores and note records...

But, yea verily, t'is like pissing in the wind...

Some new unrelated to RSD music entered the collection via the ether...

Elsewhere, chaos in the garden, most likely the beak-work of a crow or two, much to this wee monkey's delight...

Rolls secured and tasty sausages prepared...

...by the EP...

A new book perused - bought mid week but only able to be brought home yesterday due to all the nights out...

This too recently secured, my first CD purchase for around nine days...

It's fine for one ninety nine...

A visit as we enjoyed coffee...

...from wee Fang the Black Cat...

"What do you mean I'm only after Dreamies?"

Anne was off out to have some things done regarding legs and I took the opportunity to commence a switch around in the back room, with previously put up into the loft shelving having been brought back into the fray with the help of a standing at the bottom of the ladders and catching big heavy wooden stuff EP...

Not quite yet, but a good start...

Over to my mum's mid afternoon to meet Wee Lackie (short for Lachlan, whom my nephew and niece in law insist on calling Lauchlan or Lockie, despite they themselves having given him the without a "u" name, Lachlan)...

Anyway, whatever he's called, he's reasonably cute...

The family...

Mum was delighted to "get a shot" of the wee man...

As was Great Auntie Anne...

Even I had an unpictured go...

Andy makes a good dad...

While baby chat ensued inside, I went outside with Wee Dougie and big brother Kerr...

There was running around...

...and there was falling over...

...and falling over...

...and running around...

Father and son...

Great uncle and great nephew...

Mum's garden has a few reasonable flowers...

And a cheeky wee scoundrel...

...whose speciality was stealing biscuits...

Great grandma had another go with Lockie...

...good flowers inside too...

A generational photo was lined up...

...and children were held upside down...

Dougue reacted reasonably to me accidentally letting him go and him falling face first onto the ground...

He tried to see of very small ornamental clogs would fit on his feet...

...while Lockie lazed around...

Home for an evening of good entertainment via a tasty curry and three episodes in a row of Agatha Christie's "Ordeal By Innocence" which was very good indeed - notwithstanding people moaning about almost everything in the original story having been changed...
Oh well...

Today's artwork, "Generational Pride"...

Highlight of the Day : Children, kind of...
