Today, it's four years since we lost Meg the Black Cat...

Here's one of my fave pics of the wee monkey...

She used to like her perch in the towel rack watching us as we prepared for our day...

And would, of course, chip in with comments...

Out early and over town to Easter Road...

...and to Mr Fenny the Dentist - my dentist since, I think, around 1973...

Today he advised he is retiring at the end of June...

End of an era indeed...

The root which has been sticking up through my gum re the emergency extraction last summer while Anne was on holiday with Lynn was filed down today and allowed to remain in situ...

In the evening, a meet up with the EP for drinks at Foundry 39 then to one of our all time fave restaurants, La P'tite Folie...

...where we remembered our wee gone chum...

With wine...

...seafood...

...steak...

...cheesecake...

...creme brulee...

...and coffee...

Late on I noticed somethign I hadn't in any of our myriad previous visits...

Francoise Hardy on the stair...

Out into the mist...

...and a bus home...

Today's artwork "French Cuisine"...
