Up reasonably early and setting up the back room for a visit from the boys...

Out for some rolls for my mum and some biscuits for said boys...

They duly arrived and we musicked for a few hours while Anne was round at Jane and Bob's for Hearts' disappointing draw against that Dundee...

I'd forgotten it was April Fool's day when Stu advised there was a leak in the bathroom...

After the boys had gone, Anne and I drove out to Loanhead to visit my mum, who will have another chance to have her toe amputated on Friday the 13th...

Unlucky, possibly, she thought...

I reminded her she has lived at No 13 for over 50 years...

Back home and, later on, I once again ran through our covers set, trying to remember what I'd learned earlier in the day...
