Up early and bringing this up to date and uploading the podcast...

With Anne out to Loanhead for around 9:15 to find my mum's carer's number and stop this morning's visit - mission accomplished...

Tasty breakfast at the Munch Box...

Obviously, my plate was very close to the camera...

And, obviously, no need for lunch thereafter...

A walk around the main street - me telling Anne what all the shops used to be, Anne saying "can we go now?"...

Monuments to the town's mining past...

On the way home, a stop at B&Q for some mud in a bag and some flowers...

Back home, a visit from Fang the Black cat...

He is a mercenary monkey...

While I waited to find out from the hospital when I could take mum home, I compiled and recorded a "space based" music only podcast - at the request of some Twitter chums worried about the Syria situation and wanting to leave the Earth...

No point in worrying - it's out of our hands...

It's unlikely those with large vested interests will blow up the planet...

And we all have to die sometime, so best just enjoy yourself and stop worrying...

At 2, to the hospital - traffic was horrendous and so I arrived at mum's bedside at 3...

And she was home before 4...

For a nice cup of tea...

...and noting an away win - too little too late - 1-0 for Queens at Greenock Morton...

Not really - she was fine...

A long trip home via the Bombay Feast and "Endeavour" enjoyed with Anne as we relaxed at last...
