Solo breakfast...

Before being joined by long-lost chum Kris-with-a-K, now living out in Singapore...

When I suggested I was going to try and capture the sunrise, he advised it was raining heavily - a fact which I tried, probably in vain, to capture in these pics of the outdoor pools...

A second wee cat was spotted, breakfasting on luncheon meat...

...as Kris, JB, Raymondo and I headed to the airport, Kris leaving early to visit family back in Scotland before returning to the Far East...

With Kris safely at departure, we stopped at nearby Mediamarkt, where a couple of CDs were purchased...

The latest from Italian fave (tho, here, singing in Spanish) Laura Pausini...

...and taking a chance on new-to-me Spanish songstress Zahara...

Back to the hotel and the rain had stopped...

...much to the delight of the local wildlife...

A drive into town for a wander and some lunch - even though the hotel was all-inclusive...

Back "home", this wee monkey was spotted living in a tree just outside the Hotel's front door...

In the evening, the plan had been for us to head to Puerto Banus - but enthusiasm for a 40 mile drive for a meal in, most probably, an over-priced restaurant, followed by over-priced drinks in an over-priced bar at the over-priced resort, had noticeably waned...

Instead, to the Kathmandu Nepali Indian restaurant in Torremolinos for a full meal and three bottles of Cobra per person for just 20 of your European Euros a head, including the tip...

Yum...

The majority of the party returned just round the corner to Garfield's for drinks, while under the weather Gavin, Giles and Gaz accompanied your correspondent back to the hotel...

This is how those three guys were probably feeling...

I was ok but the wound was playing up so decided on an early night...

Just as well, as JB rolled in at 3:15...

It's all good...

Highlight of the Day : Not going to Puerto Banus...
