On, to some of the many charity shops around this area, near the site of our own, now gone, second Record Shop...

Back, past Varsity, where, one Saturday afternoon in late 1972, I bought "Love it to Death" by Alice Cooper and "The Magician's Birthday" by Uriah Heep...

Back down the Bridges...

...crossing the Royal Mile...

...and down Cockburn St...

...to Waverley Bridge - not even midday yet...

An Airport bus back towards Crispycat Hill...

..and climbing said hill...

...and home, after walking over six miles - a good haul...

...the weather not quite as good it had been when I'd left...

In the afternoon, more work on sorting "Morphinecodex" on Bandcamp...

Late on, some modern classical piano music listening and compilation, sparked by a Twitter exchange with chum Sid Smith - who's looking for suggestions for his weekly prog podcast...

I suggested "some modern classical piano which might be deemed "prog" - though it probably predates prog by half a century?"...

Then I found I'd forgotten about Busoni, Scelsi, Feldman and Rudolf Hindemith - not to mention a few compilations from the USA and Darmstadt...

The playlist now lasts for 6 days...

I may have taken it too far...

During the conversation, I was asked by another curious contributer what CBQ stood for and found that Cloudland Blue Quartet is the 12th most popular explanation of the Acronym on the internet...

In the evening a light and tasty tea from Bombay Feast, so as not to take away from the six mile walk (although I confess a cheeky wee vanilla slice had been consumed mid afternoon with some lovely coffee)...

Later, some tentative work on a crossover project featuring soundscapes from "Morpinecodex" the as yet unreleased "Schneewittchen" and the string quartet experiments from early May was undertaken...

An idea is germinating...

A new curtain pole in the main bedroom was precariously applied in a joint effort by Mr CBQ and his long-suffering Exec Producer...

"You spend ages and ages tweaking and tweaking one tiny wee note in one of your stupid music projects but you just don't care when it comes to doing something important", or words to that effect, were uttered by one of the parties involved...

Towards bedtime with alien invasion Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughan comedy vehicle "The Watch" entertaining...

And some tidying of the desk was also undertaken...
