Up around six...

Some sorting of "Morphinecodex" on Bandcamp - amending it from two separate sites to one, with all 24 tracks...

Some other online tidying up of the back catalogue...

Take a listen why don't you...

At eight fifteen, soundtracked by my last three song based albums - from 2009, 2010 and 2012 - out into the reasonable sun and annoyingly windy wind...

...and down Crispycat Hill...

....and along past Jane & Bobby's and Anne's mum's...

...and Murrayfield...

...and some blown down tree debris...

...and Murrayfield Parish Church...

...to Helen the Podiatrists for some footwork...

Like Jane, Bobby, Olly and Kitty, Helen is just back from Italy...

Fifteen minutes later, with feet feeling good, onwards...

...into town...

...towards Haymarket...

...and up Morrison Street...

...crossing Lothian Road...

..and along Bread Street...

..through the West Port, noting some bookshops - I definitely have at least two of these...

...past the castle...

...into the Grassmarket...

...and through...

...and up Victoria Street...

...to my second target, the Library - I was a few minutes early...

Judee Sill returned and an Eddie Harris Anthology borrowed for 3 weeks for just 64 of your English New Pence - £80 on Amazon...

On, down Chamber St, past the museum- a favourite haunt on many a rainy Saturday afternoon in the seventies...

...to my third destination, the Festival Theatre...

...where my - as it turns out, front row - ticket for tomorrow's Trio HSK gig was collected...

On, to some of the many charity shops around this area, near the site of our own, now gone, second Record Shop...

Things swithered over but nothing partaken of...

The "you've got too many CDs already and you'll never listen to these" voice kicked in...

Back, past Varsity, where, one Saturday afternoon in late 1972, I bought "Love it to Death" by Alice Cooper and "The Magician's Birthday" by Uriah Heep...

Back down the Bridges...

...crossing the Royal Mile...

...and down Cockburn St...

...to Waverley Bridge - not even midday yet...

An Airport bus back towards Crispycat Hill...

..and climbing said hill...

...and home, after walking over six miles - a good haul...

...the weather not quite as good it had been when I'd left...

In the afternoon, more work on sorting "Morphinecodex" on Bandcamp...

Late on, some modern classical piano music listening and compilation, sparked by a Twitter exchange with chum Sid Smith - who's looking for suggestions for his weekly prog podcast...

I suggested "some modern classical piano which might be deemed "prog" - though it probably predates prog by half a century?"...

My shortlist...

...and longlist...

...and a playlist created...

Then I found I'd forgotten about Busoni, Scelsi, Feldman and Rudolf Hindemith - not to mention a few compilations from the USA and Darmstadt...

The playlist now lasts for 6 days...

I may have taken it too far...

During the conversation, I was asked by another curious contributer what CBQ stood for and found that Cloudland Blue Quartet is the 12th most popular explanation of the Acronym on the internet...

Class Based Queuing
Catholic Biblical Quarterly
Commercial Bank of Qatar
Calabar Airport (Nigeria)
Children's Behavior Questionnaire
Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy Railroad
Conflict Behavior Questionnaire (psychology)
Child Bipolar Questionnaire
Conseil de la Boulangerie du Québec (French: Bakery Council of Quebec; Canada)
Corporation des Bijoutiers du Québec (French: Jewellers Corporation of Quebec; Canada)
Combined Bachelors Quarters
Cloudland Blue Quartet (musician)

In the evening a light and tasty tea from Bombay Feast, so as not to take away from the six mile walk (although I confess a cheeky wee vanilla slice had been consumed mid afternoon with some lovely coffee)...

Later, some tentative work on a crossover project featuring soundscapes from "Morpinecodex" the as yet unreleased "Schneewittchen" and the string quartet experiments from early May was undertaken...

An idea is germinating...

A new curtain pole in the main bedroom was precariously applied in a joint effort by Mr CBQ and his long-suffering Exec Producer...

"You spend ages and ages tweaking and tweaking one tiny wee note in one of your stupid music projects but you just don't care when it comes to doing something important", or words to that effect, were uttered by one of the parties involved...

Towards bedtime with alien invasion Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughan comedy vehicle "The Watch" entertaining...

And some tidying of the desk was also undertaken...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Walking, piano compiling and musicking - and putting up a curtain pole...
