As usual, up just after six and some thinking going on...

And some writing and picture treating and this updating and music listening - King Crimson again...

At nine, with Anne still sleeping, out solo and a drive to my mum's avoiding the traffic slowing to a halt road works...

Soundtracked by my phone, bluetoothing to the Cloudland Blue Mobile stereo system...

My mum became the first person other than me to hear this...

It was declared "quite noisy"...

A good chat with mum and then, as she departed for church, I departed for Ikea and purchased three further sets of the book shelf recently added to the computer room...

Then to Sainsbury's for a few choice items for my mum and Soya Milk Light for me to try out...

Dropped off my mum's stuff then back home for a breakfast of oats, soya milk and the anti cholesterol drink I've now been imbibing every morning for the past 14 months...

Then, to work...

Initially, I cleared all the books from the computer room shelf...

...took it to the back room and tried it out (a bit late considering I had already purchased a further three sets)...

Leaving this unused...

The room was an even bigger mess than before...

Moved the two cases of classical CDs over to where the LPs and box sets had been...

...all the while, soundtracked by some LPs - Crimson, Haydn, The Tubes and this...

...a bit of a Genesis rarity it seems...

...while the building of the new sets of shelves commenced...

This was as far as I got, before it was time to leave for Anne's mum's re today's friendly between Hearts and Everton at Tynecastle...

On the way, Olly and I noticed this colony of ants...

Later, a less than functioning traffic light was also noted...

...as the quartet made its way...

...to the field of dreams, kind of...

If you ever want to study very unhealthy looking males of the species, head to a football ground...

Ex Queens striker Gavin Reilly made his debut, coming on in the second half, once all the real action was over...

A 1-1 draw - plus Everton's two penalties, making it 3-1 to the visitors...

The seagulls enjoyed the match...

Cold and rainy on the way home...

Coffee and then, back to work...

First new unit completed...

First new unit filled...

My thoughts were to have four units along this wall - alas, measuring of the space revealed an inch or so less width than that required...

Then, after some consultation with the Exec Producer, the old, previously thought about to be disregarded unit was swapped back for the previously in the computer room unit and the LPs were placed in their fourth and final position of the day - as were the books in the computer room...

Both returned to the exact positions in which they'd started - this is how etc...

Oooh - tidy...

A second unit was built and tried out on one side...

...and then the other...

...before a break for dinner - then, a third joined the fray and things finally started to take shape....

The two Ikea Billy units are finally going to be dumped - that part of the classical collection which they contained until today was now off the floor and in its new home...

Before another break to watch this week's "Humans", some other stuff was added and a little tidying ensued - nearly there...

Post "Humans", the books which had been being stored in boxes behind the bed settee were also added, the settee was moved back a little, guitars were replaced and the wooden box was strategically placed - the studio is inside it...

Finished...

Mr Quartet seemed less than convinced but Teddy seemed to like it - given he was no longer covered in rubbish...

Back to the computer room for some listening, some surfing, some prepping of this...

Lights out on a busy day of moving stuff about - much of it back to exactly from where it came...

Highlight of the Day : New shelves...
