Listened to some Allman Brothers first thing - as you do...

A track featured on a recent compilation had suggested to me they might be good, having never listened to them before, while, of course, having been "aware" of them since the '70's...

Hmm - suffice to say I can stop swithering now about that 5 album box set...

A visit to the British Heart Foundation Shop at lunchtime resulted in three purchases for just four hundred and ninety seven of your new English pence...

Of the nine tracks on this...

...only one was not already in the collection...

Of the sixty tracks on this...

...nineteen were previously "unowned"...

And, of the forty on this...

...twenty-four were "new"...

So 44 songs (out of 109) for a fiver...

Justified?

Well...

I could not face the walk home tonight and so walked for just over a mile before catching a bus...

What with roadworks and delays re drivers sitting at stops without driving, I only arrived home two or three minutes sooner than I did on Monday,or yesterday, when I walked all theway...

My feet are less sore though, if that's any consolation...

The evening was spent listening to the newly acquired tracks and watching an episode of "The Goldbergs" - only two left now on the Tivo...

And, of course, late on, Tuesday night is "Holby" night...

Except, it appears to have been moved to a Wednesday...

Say what now?

Way to mix up an old man...

Highlight of the Day : Some new musical discoveries...and not walking home...
