The Paul Corley album acquired last Saturday is being much enjoyed...

No shuffles today as the new, improved Mr CBQ continued on the health kick...

As of this morning, I am lighter than I have been at any time in the last nine years...

Onwards and downwards...

This is purely down to the only real way to lose weight - on a daily basis, acquiring fewer calories than are being expended...

That, plus "reasonable" exercise which, for your correspondent, comprises walking copious amounts of miles, again on a daily basis...

A slight set back this afternoon then...

I noted yesterday as I set out for Stockbridge, a twinge in my right foot...

I paid no heed...

By late this afternoon, I was almost completely unable to walk and so had to call to be Executively Produced to the "Small Injuries" unit at the Western Hospital...

There I was diagnosed, thankfully not with gout but with Extensor Tendonitis - which is inflammation of the tendons which connect leg muscles to toes...

Resting of the feet for a few days was recommended, along with the purchase of lighter shoes...

This condition can take two or three months to heal apparently...

We'll see...

And so, the evening was spent with my feet up, watching TV - "Mock the Week", "Big Bang", "Two Broke Girls", a new, reasonably promising drama "The Honourable Woman", the end of "Question Time" and "This Week" before hobbling, with some difficulty, up to bed...

Suck it up, fatboy...

Lights out with Yes in the cans, having read very disappointing reviews of their new album this evening...

Not to worry...

Highlight of the Day : Lowest weight since summer 2005...

sorry about the foot. You do do a tremendous amount of walking.
Stick with the calorie reduction. It's bound to work. Beer, no no.
