To the dentist first thing, or rather the hygienist - who, every time I visit, advises my gums are bleeding in some place or other - of course that may have something to do with the hacking away at them with a sharp metal object that is taking place...

At lunchtime, a tasty salad nourished, while overlooking Princes St Gardens in the hot sun and then, into the basement of HMV, where a disc by Steve Adey was procured for £2.99, after being swithered about and then being swayed about by reading reviews online and seeing mention of the Blue Nile and Talk Talk...

It's very slow and very good...

Back upstairs, I also bought the new Yes album (despite having a download already) - old skool, full price...

In text conversations with Dr Prog, I advised I have come to realise this is a surprising album (for Yes), it's understated yet it has the potential to be an unexpected classic - and that's with the three previously unloved pieces reinstated...

Over the last few weeks, I have listened to this LP more than any other this year...

It's slow and very good...

A very hot day - still so, as I made my way up the hill...

Tasty mince, sweet potato mash and green beans tonight...

Yum...

And some listening (and goggle boxing re "New Girl" and "Live at the Apollo")...

No work done...

Highlight of the Day : New music and a tasty tea - same as it ever was...
