David Bowie’s birthday and woke to the news that he’d released a new single out of the blue ten years after his last album...


Had to get it of course...

I like it – but then, I’m biased towards him...

Much of my other listening today was from the new 18th Century box...

Not much of a walk at lunchtime – only made it as far as HMV and ended up buying the best o of Avro Part and a 3CD Motown box of Mod faves and Beatle covers – all for £4...

This is the value of music today...

Met brother-in-law Bobby on the way home and his encouragement to walk all the way to his house with him boosted the step count nicely...

We passed this intriguing looking house...


Spent the evening creating discs for other brother-in-law, Keith...

Took a break to enjoy the first in the new series, of which the name escapes me at present, re Ben Miller as a detective on a Caribbean island...

Possibly "Murder in Paradise"...
