Began the day at 4:30 am with Meg the Black Cat, finishing off the Roxy Music book whilst listening to Miles Davis...

She showed her love for the far out jazz fusion warblings and noodlings of "Live Evil"...

Then, reading about Miles Davis whilst listening to more Miles Davis...

The lurgi were stopping me from sleeping...

Another day at home...

Not for Anne though, she was off out for a ladies’ lunch with chum Debbie...

Which lasted into the early evening...

Meanwhile I downloaded more Roy Wood related music – a lost Wizzard LP and a late seventies solo album...

I also made my way into the very gubbins of my PC and upgraded the memory, increasing it four-fold - why didn't I do that years ago?

It's like having a new machine...

And I cooked for one...

The pictured pasta was excluded from the final dish, a red chilli, some paprika powder and some sweet corn taking its place...

Despite what that might suggest, the results, complete with a sprinkling of parmasan cheese, were deemed very tasty indeed...

In touch today with Pam via text – she advised there was nothing new to report - still feeling well...

Sister Sheila (Happy Birthday today!) is going to England on Monday but advises she too has the lurgi – they must be banished or no hospital visits will be allowed, rendering the trip fairly pointless...

E-mails from musicking buddies from over thirty years ago pointed to a pair of evenings of attempting to resurrect said musicking...

These will take place over the next couple of weeks and perhaps a spark might be ignited once more, or perhaps it won't - we'll see but I am hopeful...

At the time of writing, I am predicting that, later on, "Not Going Out" will entertain but, given my ongoing lurgi-fied state, I am unsure whether "Question Time" or "This Week" will be given the chance to do the same...

Highlight of the Day : The chance of a resurrection in the offing...
