King Crimson – The ProjeKcts (Box Set)
Sly and the Family Stone – Fresh
Brian Eno – More Music for Films
After last night’s listening to the “Young Person’s Guide” sampler to the Crimson ProjeKcts, I delved into the entire 4CD Box Set today – I’d forgotten just how much great music there is in this ten year old set...
Weather was a bit on the cold side...
At lunchtime, I wandered along to FOPP, with another forgetting scenario going on...
I’d completely forgotten having decided yesterday that I “needed” Brian Eno’s “Music For Films Vol 2” on CD...
Of course there it was right in front of me as soon as I arrived at Fopp – not quite “Music for Films Vol 2”, which is not available anywhere anymore, having only been issued as part of a retrospective box set in 1983, but the closest thing, “More Music for Films”...
A Sly and the Family Stone album from 1973 took the tally up to £8...
This last soundtracked this evening’s tasty pasta cooking session following Anne’s keep fit...
Then we watched the first episode of the new BBC Sci fi drama “Outcasts” – not too great but I’ll stick with it, second episode tomorrow...
Spent some time late on comparing "Music For Films Vol 2" with the new Eno CD, his Instrumental Box Set and "Apollo" - a combination of tracks from these will recreate the LP...
It seems Pam has passed on her infection to me – I am coughing for Scotland now...
A call from her today advised her “White Cell Scan” took place early this morning and the results will be in tomorrow...
She’s sounding much better...
Meg the Black cat continues to like the discarded blue box...
Highlight of the Day : Rediscovering the ProjeKcts...
