Meg the Black Cat seemed in fine fettle again this morning...

To the physiotherapist...

She advised my knees should be healed by the change in my bio-mechanics being caused by wearing the expensive insoles in my shoes...

As for my ongoing hip/groin problem, exercises were decided upon and are to be carried out - the co-codomol painkiller regime is also to continue...

An excellent lunch with Jim Park at David Bann in St Mary's St, as a wee thank you for the work done back in the summer for his Fringe Show...

Jim's comedy career continues to gather pace and he regaled me with tales of his recent gigs, where his off-set riffing regarding impossible puppet shows stood him in good stead with his audience - his story in relation to French girls' understanding of the sound made by a rooster also entertained...

A trip to Fopp late afternoon resulted in my purchasing three (yes three) albums by The Eagles, their eponymous debut, and the classics "Desperado" and "One of These Nights"...

Favourites from days gone by and reminders of many a happy time spent in the company of my old school chum Dennis "Dood" Hamilton...

Also entering the collection was a two disc remaster of Japan's 1981 tour, "Oil on Canvas", the Scott Walker festival of strangeness that is "The Drift" and a fairly laid back Iggy Pop album from a year or so ago...

With Anne out enjoying a meal in Fife, I watched monster hokum "Cloverfield" - not bad...

Upon her return, we enjoyed the Tivo'd first in the new series of "Bag Bang Theory" - the quality has been maintained...

Slept through "Question Time" and caught some of "This Week" before succumbing again...

Highlight of the Day : Tasty lunch with an old pal...
