A quiet Easter Monday spent mostly listening to Miles Davis...
In the evening, we enjoyed the final of “University Challenge”, with one of the six “houses” from Cambridge in the competition thrashing one of the five “houses” from Oxford, by 315 – 100...
Emmanuel, including the very brainy Alex Guttenplan, only scraped through the first round as the joint lowest scoring of the four highest scoring losers...
In the end though, they proved themselves worthy champions of the ten month competition...
Noticed I’d started to cough annoyingly late afternoon – by late evening, despite being cheered by “The Simpsons” and “You’ve Been Framed”, while Anne concocted a very tasty chorizo and potato hash based dish, the lurgi had well and truly landed...
Sickly man...
No “Glee”, while “Fastforward” was Tivo’d in favour of Anne watching “Masterchef”, which I declined, opting instead to recreate two classical music compilations I made for brother-in-law Bobby just over ten years ago – he still has the covers but has lost the discs and requested reconstitution if possible...
A few hours work and all tracks located and ripped to the hard-drive...
Then, to bed with the Purps on the cans...
