A lazy Sunday was intended, although I still rose quite early...
In the end it wasn't...
Work on the notes from yesterday's band discussion and sending those and bullet points to the boys, together with a revamped mock up of set 2 for 24 May and links to every No 1 single since the UK charts began, with the idea that we each choose 5 from each decade, giving us another big list of "tracks we'd like to play" but, this time with nothing esoteric and no eras left untouched...
The only comeback from Keith (when he finally read the post tomorrow night) was "I didn't say it had to be No 1 hits"...
I look forward to his non No 1 research to add yo "Lust For Life"...
The more suggestions the merrier...
I compiled my own 40 tracks across the years and listened back to the 2 hour odd playlist...
Nice...
Then, I listened to a CD...
Anne was working on with her own project...
My project was - I listened to the first four of my top 5 LPs in the latest poll to choose the "best" LPs of the 1970s...
"Neu! 75"...
"Phaedra"...
"Hall of the Mountain Grill"...
The weather outside looked good - but I was not going out quite yet...
"Never Mind the Bollocks"...
Then I went out but merely to get milk supplies...
Anne was making top notch prawn tagliatelle...
...having finished removing all the wallpaper from the living room...
Tea time...
...and some "Black Snow"...
I put the shelves back up...
...the weekend was almost over...
Last of the 5 70's LPs, "Band on the Run"...
Some more telly, some compiling of this week's podcast...
Bed...
Highlight of the Day : Compiling...
