Anne was off to Zumba while I downloaded the weekly New Music Friday stuff. then, I had to take the laptop to Currys to ask some questions about strange behaviour re sites on the internet not opening properly...

Post coming to the conclusion with their tech man that it must be the router, I parked on the roof of Waitrose and walked to Stockbridge but nothing of interest found...

A bus back to the car...

Shortly after retiring back, Anne came in to advise our neighbour of 38 years, Bianca had found her dad, Pietro, dead in his bed...

I had to go in to check - there was nothing to be done -called 999 and arranged for someone to attend - and they arrived quite quickly...

Family and friends arrived shortly afterwards,...

The end of an era - Bianca's mum, Fiona, died in hospital last August, quite unexpectedly...

So now Bianca is the eldest of the family...

So sad...

In the afternoon, chat in the garden with the "kids" as we left for the hospital for a screening for me...

An AAA screening...

All is fine...

Anne drove to see her mum, I got a bus up to Newington and went round the shops...

Anne has been looking for this for a reason which cannot yet be disclosed...

So, a fortuitous find...

Onwards...

A 2CD set of Hadyn found at the Bethany shop and another of Sibelius found at the Marie Curie back on the South Bridge...

A walk down to Princes St and an orange Airport bus to the zoo, where I met up with Anne...

Home to listen and rip...

Steak pie for tea...

Some pretend Pepsi Max...

Then, clearing the living room shelves, as Anne will strip the walls tomorrow and Sunday...

Temporary home found...

A visit from Fang...

Although this looks like it, he did not try to enter the house...

Deciding what to do next...

For us "Beyond Paradise", "Have I Got News For You" and "Rizzoli & Isles"

And, despite rebooting and then resetting the router, my internet troubles remain...
