Well now, it was a Thursday...
...and the sky outside was decidedly nice...
Today I was off over to Loanhead to ensure my mum got along to the "Soup Lunch & Bingo" at the church hall where I once played football (with a tennis ball) regularly on a Sunday evening with Sandy, Kenny & Mikey (the Harkness brothers) and Rory MacRae...
Ah the old days...
Mum was ready to roll...
...and had soon been delivered in ample time to enjoy every minute of her outing...
Meanwhile, I took a drive up to Penicuik and found this in one the two charity shops there...
Three CDS of ratehr tuneful dance music from Global Underground...
Then back to pick up the elderly lady - she had missed "bingo" by one number in one of the games...
Safely back home, I too headed back to base but stopped off at a large shopping centre on the way home...
This was added to the collection...
These were eschewed...
...in favour of these for the EP...
I don’t buy magazines that often these days but The Wire is a must have for me when there’s a new Wire Tapper CD with it....
The 61st in the series was with the April issue (sterling sounds abound - for a change!)...
And the 100th Anniversary edition of Gramophone? Steep at £10 but it’s a one off…

...before switching off the power to receive a £1.04 rebate from our supplier for using around 70% less energy for an a hour than normal...
