Friday again...

Once more up and downloading new stuff (see below) which, inevitable necessitated a podcast content rethink..

Out t0 the place I go to lose and, not surprisingly given the two slap up Indians enjoyed since last Friday, I had gained very slightly...

Back home and the podcast put together...

I'm tired of leaving out half of what I want to play so, I kept it all in this week for a mammoth show. 45 top tracks (3 hours 40 mins), featuring:-
7 LPs of the Day
New Releases
Singles
Classical
Funk
Soul
Leftfield
Ambient
Jazz
Prog
Reggae
Singer/Songwriter
CBQ Works in Progress

However, I uploaded all the tracks and my links to Audacity, "normalised" them all, put them all into order and crossfaded everything and created it in around 1 hour 20...

Of course I still had to listen back to the whoel thing to ensure no botches...

Then, into town to sort out some work stuff, then a walk round to Fopp and this purchased for £2...

In Mono but plays fine...

Dr Prog was there by chance - on the lookout for some Yes on vinyl to test out his reconstituted turntable, which he is enjoying utilising...

This evening a drive to South Queensferry for a meet up with Prog Rock Willie and a further drive in his car to Kinross for Wishbone Ash...

I thought this was next Friday till Willie phoned me this morning about it…

Actually, it was "Martín Turner Ex Wishbone Ash" (ex-colleague Andy Powell has the rights to the name)...

Nonetheless, to all intents and purposes, we witnessed Wishbone Ash - each version contains only 1 original member...

Over an hour and half of top notch seventies almost prog was much better than I'd anticipated...

...during which Queens were enjoying a 3-1 away win at Edinburgh City...

...and Willie got to meet one of his heroes and buy his book...

One last look...

..before we headed back down the motorway to the Cloudland Blue Mobile which got me home just in time for bed...

Highlight of the Day : Wishbone Ash...

Today's new music:-
