First thing...
...having heard a great track by The Temptations on my overnight podcast ("Take a Stroll Through Your Mind"), I got sucked into compiling an imaginary 2CD set comprising all there 6 minute and over tracks recorded between 1969 and 1973...
As you do...
Of course, I ought to have been getting this up to date but hey ho...
Luna was not enthused...
..by my comp or by the post 1973 Temptation shaped holes in the collection, which I then filled...
Later, she was enthused by a visit to the window from young Rocky...
A contretemps, luckily separated by glass, ensued...
...with each resuming their former positions...
As predicted, my mum's trip to the Guild was cancelled...
Anne's painting however, continued...
I had a new idea for the "Front Porch" project and set about creating that. Divide the 36 minute piece into 3 minute or so sections and have three series of the trio, Blue Sun Chasing solo, Edward Spark solo, CBQ solo...
It worked very well indeed...
Later, with Anne off out for tea with chum Gillian - I was able to re-record setlists 2 & 3 of my "top" covers...
Then, to cooking...
Not bad but also not great...
I did however, get some cuddles from Luna...
...and some attention...
...but only because Anne was not available...
Around 10, a lift up the hill provided...
All good...
