Avoiding the latter, I chose three 20th Century, string quartets from Hartmann (Germany) & Hatzis (Greek/Canadian) plus a Violin Concerto & Symphony from Hartke (USA).  Looking fwd to some difficult but rewarding listening…

This afternoon, round to see Olly, on his own with Jane, Bob and Kitty in Florida - he will join them next week...

Coffee and cake and chart enjoyed...

...and we said cheerio - we won't see the boy for a wee while now...

This evening, once more to see my mum...

Éclair and chocolate and flowers enjoyed...

SIM for the phone still awaited due to infernal jubilee nonsense meaning everywhere's is shut for four days, kind of...

Home for tea and telly...

My initial 135 nominations for the (my) Top 5 for 2015 were honed from 100 to these 75...

Ended the day with the first LP I ever bought. Autumn 1972...
