Up before 6 and listening to me...
...while looking about...
...from Mercury Rev to Joni Mitchell...
Once again, I went for lesser known and lesser listened to items, in the form of Miike (with two "i"s) Snow, Brooke Miller and Holly Miranda - all of which would, I thought, make for a nice and tuneful start to the day...
In the event, I never got to Miike Snow - but it's on the list...
Breakfast...
...and then, into town, listening to new Edward Spark and my initial rough remixes thereof...
This afternoon, a long hot bus journey to see my mum's care manager and Occupational Therapist, with sister Sheila...
Even though I left the office at 2:30, I still didn't get there till 4:05...
75 minutes longer than by car...
Oh well...
A good meeting and much sorted out...
A care package has been applied for but the wait might be 6 weeks or it might be 6 months!!
A lift home from Sheila who is now off to Yorkshire till next Wednesday...
Fang visited - there are four hours between these pics...
In between, we finished off "Night Sky" - set up for season two, whenever that comes...
Compiled two hours of music for the weekend's podcast - but some of it will be knocked out by any new releases I deem worthy tomorrow morning...
Lights out...
Highlight of the Day : When I was finally able to get off the bus...
