Up just after 6...

...for a day...

...mostly...

...of...

...John McLaughlin...

Later today, I enjoyed three hours of listening re the longest track from each of his solo studio LPs...

Daily Section was No 46/432...

Section 97, from Lucy Kaplansky to The Killers...

I chose Kaukasus, a trio featuring 2 mellotrons, Kensington Prairie, a local artist, Rebecca Rowan, bought in Vancouver in 2008 and an LP by Nigel Kennedy to which I’ve never given a proper listen…

Also today, 2015 was whittled to 100...

A visit from Fang - I think this might have been his first since Luna departed last Friday...

Welcome back Fang...

Another tasty tea from Anne, marinated chicken salad...

Then, out to see my mum...

It turns out she's now spent over £60 on her burner phone...

I've told her not to use it again unril I get her a cheap SIM (£3.98 pm for unlimited calls)...

She has enough drugs etc of course...

Home, still in the sun...

And some moving around of stuff...

Why has it taken me this long to realise I could use the wine boxes from the top row of books to house CD box sets?

Oh well - I've realised now...

Final scene of the day...

...as I headed to bed with this, which sounds as up to date as ever. I do love a bit of the old digger dagger…

Highlight of the Day : John McLaughlin again...
