Up just after five and finishing off the ripping from yesterday...

Later, in the garden, last week's acquired Peony Rose has bloomed already...

Ran through some of the Capital Models set acoustically...

Watched "Sunday Brunch" with Richard Herring - he will be on "Taskmaster Champion of Champions" this week - we finished off the latest series on Friday - Tate McRae was also on, briefly...

Lunch...

A visit from Rocky...

Then, out to see my mum...

Progress does seem to be being made and, while sister Sheila and I have set out our visiting schedule till the end of July, hopefully mum will be home before that...

"Thank goodness" she says...

Home around 4:30 to pick up Anne then into town to Argentinos for a slap up tea at 5:30...

...before walking to the Festival Theatre...

...for the long awaited return to the stage of one of our all time faves, Stewart Lee - with his show "Tornado/Snowflake" - which he was touring just before the pandemic...

He's bringing the second half of the show to the Fringe - as well as an early morning "work in progress" set...

He was absolutely superb and well up to the usual standards - which is way above most if not all...

And, of course, some of the voices he does in his set are Richard Herring from the golden days of Lee & Herring's "Good Morning With Richard Not Judy" and "Fist of Fun"...

A walk back to the car, tins of liquid having been acquired and consumed on the way...

Back home, I realised I hadn't done my daily section...

No 64 of 432, section 430, the 3rd last 25 acquisitions. Since the last time “The Shelf” came up, 30 new CDs have been added, so these used to be the 2nd last 25...

Choices were Bruno Bavota, Denison Witmer and John Pope Quintet, none of whom I’d heard of when I bought them!

...and two of which I enjoyed before falling asleep in bed...

End of a good weekend...

Highlight of the Day : Stewart Lee is back!
