Up to find that Putin is as mad as we always thought he was but did nothing about it...

Too late now...

Onwards with the mundanity as ever but, now, with a massive shadow over everything...

Anyway...

Snow outside...

...was followed by snowing outside...

Anne was off to that Fife for her one day a week of W but not FH...

Soundtrack this morning, the content of this week's podcast...

At lunchtime, a visit from Fang and a Brian Eno lecture from 2015...

Pre Brexit, pre Covid, pre Ukraine...

To return to my WFH, I had to eject the wee man, which involved dreamies on the windowsill to entice him out...

Wary of another cat spotted in the neighbourhood, he kept eating a few then jumping down then jumping back up for more...

Soundtrack this afternoon, 90 minutes or so of a one track per album playlist re the 175 LPs chosen to represent my acquisitions between the ages of 13 and 22...

In baby news, Uncle Craig and Auntie Arianne were introduced to Lily...

...who as also on the stairs for some reason - artistic license I imagine...

Elsewhere, my 1998 choices were whittled from 75 to 50...

...and, towards the end of the afternoon, I was off out and about again...

The view from the office this evening...

...for some WWEAD (working while eating and drinking)...

No pics of the starter but here's the menu...

Masterchefian...

The view from the office as I left around 10...

...and walked to beyond Haymarket...

...before getting the bus home...

Home into the warm around 11 and to bed before midnight, not the worse for wear...

Highlight of the Day : A lovely meal...
