Friday!

Up - late again...

...and so didn't get any of this done...

Kitty has arrived safely in that Costa Rica...

In the UK, a storm was expected...

Here, it did not really materialise, although it did elsewhere across the country...

Here, it was just cold...

...which bothered me not a jot as I W'dFH, accompanied (with Anne out at Zumba and coffee and chat with Lynn) by the first 49 days of 2022's LPs of the day, on shuffle...

Only 5 are pre 2021, while 27 are from 2022...

The first 47 have already been featured in my Eclectic Selection podcasts Vols 1-7..

Numbers 48 & 49 (along with the next 5) will be in next week's...

And so on...

25 of these are by artists I'd not heard of before 2022...

However, it seems, from the (non) reaction to my Tweet of the list, that those who receive my Tweets in their timelines (I hesitate to call them "followers") are more interested in old music, or new stuff by people they already know...

Oh well...

At least I have an open musical mind...

Fang popped by...

I lured him upstairs with some Dreamies so I didn't need to kick him out while I W'dFH (in case he pished on the curtains)...

Dreamies were scoffed...

These are rare sights indeed...

Nephew Criag announced he'd finally moved into his new office for the Scotsman...

His view from the office...

...is exactly the same as mine was from 1984 to 1986, just before he was born...

Funny old world...

On Anne's return, she advised her visit to her mum had found the latter slightly unwell....

A test advised she has Covid...

A week or so of isolation is now in hand - luckily Anne has, thus far tested negative...

Mary's children are supporting...

Anne will pop by tomorrow morning in the first instance...

With work finished for the week, time for another lovely chili from the EP, accompanied by some Châteauneuf du Pape...

...and, later, some French telly, some "Death in Paradise" and some reading and listening...

Meanwhile, the sixth in the series covering the first 10 years of my record buying "career" comprised these 18 faves to this day, of the 201(!!) LPs I bought when I was 18 (many of them, and at least 9 of these 18, at "3 for £1" from Hot Wax at Greyfriars Market)...

18 at 18...

And, finally, my top 5 LPs of 1976 were revealed as this quintet...

Onwards into the future (while looking at the past)...

Highlight of the day : Listening and compiling...
