Up and wrote up yesterday...

...and posted up 20 LPs bought when I was 20, which remain faves 42 years later, my 20 at 20...

...and downloaded 110 of the 250 pieces for Beethoven curated and played by Susanne Kessel in the years leading up to 2020, inspired to do so by some of said top piano music having been played from one of the 2CD sets by Ian Sclater yesterday - he was lucky enough to have attended one of the concerts...

Also trawled again through recent releases and another 10 LPs were partaken of, including three by discovery, Melt Yourself Down...

Just after 9, out to do my mum's shopping...

Home to find a wee chum on the window sill waiting to be let in...

He was looking for Dreamies...

Then, he stuck around for a while...

...while I did some music listening and we had lunch and watch four episodes of "Family Business", moving into the 3rd and last season...

A scene, for no particular reason...

Chum Craig Sutherland posted a close up of an original panting by a friend which hangs in his house...

I had him send me a pic of the full thing...

...which led me to send these two back to him...

Out to my mum's for 3, soundtracked by the recent big Haydn download......

She's pretty fed up re her continued leg scenario, involving leaking of water therefrom - and now, on the same leg/foot, her bunion is playing up again...

Her mood is understandable...

I'd bought a couple of extras this morning to cheer her up...

And so, a chocolate éclair was enjoyed, with more in the fridge to keep her going...

Back home and the next fortnight's year for which to decide your top 5 LPs was announced as 1998...

After researching possible things I'd missed and downloading 8 contenders, I compiled this 100...

...which will be whittled down to 5 over the next 2 weeks...

More "Family Business" and a superb (but unpictured) schnitzel from Anne, rivalling the offerings at Stuttgart's "Onkel Otto's Schnitzel Paradies" were much enjoyed...

Then, with Anne watching some pottery programme and the one about the nuns and babies I downloaded even more stuff - this time, by Tangerine Dream soundalikes, Redshift - having been enthused when their LP from 1998, already in the collection, popped up on shuffleplay...

And so, all of these were downloaded today...

8 from 1998, 10 recent releases and back catalogue stuff by one of them, Beethoven tributes and 10 by Redshift...

In all, over 31 hours of new to me music...

Will I ever listen to it all?  Will I banjo...

At 10, on the box, the penultimate episode of "Trigger Point" entertained - although we had to fire up STV Player to watch the last couple of minutes after it had been cut off of our recording...

That meant having to watch 12 minutes of ads we'd previously spun through...

Oh well...

Around midnight, the weekend drew to a close...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's schnitzel...
