Up, blurrily...

To the yellow kitchen for some coffee...

I played the last two records in the Random LP a Day project which has been going since around 10 May last year...

The penultimate record was this picture disc from Noel on Virgin in 1979...

....written and produced by Sparks, putting into practice what they’d learned from Giorgio Moroder while recording “No 1 in Heaven”...

It makes an excellent companion to that classic...

And lastly, a record which, completely coincidentally, was released on this very day, 54 years ago, back in 1967...

This & No Pussyfooting, inspired me to make music...

A beaten up (and peeled) 2nd hand copy, bought for 50p on 24/5/76, between Pink Floyd's debut & Hawkwind's  "A Space Ritual"...

I gave this copy to wee sister, Pam, when I replaced it witha better one...

When she died in 2011, I found it again in her collection

It seems, when I bought it, I was unaware of the title, and took a guess...

It seems the version I bought for 50p, if in "fair" condition, is "worth" around £250 on Discogs...

There are only 6 copies on there and the top price is £2,500...

Mind you, I think you can get the CD for about a fiver...

This afternoon, I listened to the longest trtack from each of APul McCarttney/Wings LPs from 1970 to 2020 - it only took about 15 minutes less than it would to listen to the 70 odd songs on which McCartney sang lead vocals on with the Beatles...

Meanwhile, wildlife in the garden...

Erm...

A visit from Fang too...

This evening, recording the first half of the podcast...

First, the links...

...then a tasty kofta curry for tea...

...then some telly - then 90 mins of the 180 min podcast...

Then bed...

Highlight of the Day : Finishing off a project...no, Anne's curry of course...
