Sunday morning...

A new picture awaits Anne..

Coffee for me until she awakes and we set off together to do the shop...

Clock in coffee...

Finished off the changes to the "Albums of the Month : Track a Month" playlist and loaded it into the iPod Touch for shopping listening...

Browsed an Alice Cooper article in Uncut re Detroit - may make an attempt to create this compilation - I'm sure I have quite a few of the tracks...

Home and some more stuff done before heading out to my mum's for a bacon roll lunch...

A wee treat...

Looking forward to mum getting her ears syringed on Tuesday - just hope it stops the deafness and the need to say everything three times...

In a neighbour's garden, a very tall snowman...

Mozart soundtracked the journeys to and from...

Back home for the afternoon...

Anne eschewed my suggestion that we watch Win Wenders' "A Lisbon Story"...

Instead, she painted and I compiled my LPs of the year...

It's changed slightly from the last time but all the old warhorses are still there...

Shut down the station...

...and retired to the back room to listen to the proposed new LP...

Then, while Anne continued to paint...

...back downsatirs for some coffee and some string quartet listening in the living room...

Tavener...

...and Arnold...

Then, with "Deadpool II" on the Tivo, I pulled up "Deadpool" on Netflix - I'd seen it already but long enough ago not to have remembered too much about it...

Anne enjoyed it too and so we're set up for the sequel...

A tasty steak pie tea...

...followed by more of my, ahem, specialty coffee...

...of which, mine was enjoyed upstairs while Anne watched something she likes...

Nina Hagen was the latest Random LP of the Day - the 28th from last...

All told, this is quite probably her most consistent and best LP...

I have boht the the English and German versions on CD...

...but only the English version on LP...

At 9, the penultimate "Finding Alice" - which we both agreed is rubbish and seems to be being made up as it goes along...

Then, a Swedish film about a lady who has been married for 40 years only to discover when he r husband has a heart attack that he has a been leading a double life..

She leaves him and gets a job in a remote village coaching a children's football team..

I fell asleep and have no recollection of how it turns out...

Weekend over...

Highlight of the Day : Steak pie...
