Up at seven...

...and finished off, this morning, the sending of the MP3s of 40 cassettes recorded between 1977 and 1989 to a German Record Company to allow them to make choices re the, at present, proposed 2 2LP sets which will form part of a big box set in 2022 called "British Cassette Culture Volume 2"...

So that was exciting...

One particular cassette (or rather three cassettes all told), recorded in 1989, of looped guitars and synths, got me thinking and I ended up doing long ambient mixes of the 6 excerpts I currently have digitally of those (the originals having also been transferred to Germany for listening)...

All that before...breakfast...

And a visit from the squirrel (or one of the squirrels - there are at least three regulars)...

This, for no reason - Anne's mum and dad with brother in law Keith...

Salad for lunch and two episodes of "Superstore"...

A visit in the afternoon from neighbour Fiona (and, later, her husband, Pietro) to view our loft ladder...

Tasty tea tonight of Green Thai Chicken Curry - noticeably hotter than the Red Thai we usually have...

Yum...

On telly, we beat Duham University in "University Challenge" but didn't quite reach the 135 points we got last week...

More episodes of "Superstore" enjoyed...

A new series of "Unforgotten" started too...

The usual format...

The soundtrack today was me post 1989 and pre becoming CBQ in 1996...

I reconstituted some albums which had originally been released as C90 cassettes via our shop and so had tracks spread around here and there when they were transferred to CD in the late 90's and early 2000s...

They should, of course, have been double CDs...

They are now. (or will be if ever re-released physically)..

That was it...

Highlight of the Day : Rediscovering my early 90's output...
