Another week in lockdown-  think this is week 48 of WFH...

Onwards...

Up just before 7...

I did not play any guitars today...

Outside, considerably warner than of late and the snow is on its way out...

At 8:30, we took the Cloudland Blue Mobile for a service and MOT, dropping it off, taking a short tram journey, a reasonable walk...

...and then a bus ride back up the hill...

Home to WFH...

Soundtracked by tracks from my revised "album of the year" playlist...

More deliveries...

I did go a bit stir crazy recently after buying hardly anything for the first few weeks of 2021...

These are all good additions though...

The Dusik, aka Dussek's arrival prompted me to search for him in the collection to see if anything was doubled (it wasn't)...

But I did stumble across tracks on a 2CD set of Deutsche Grammophon 7" singles from the '50s...

That led me to search for stuff on DG....

..which, in turn, led to the downloading of 16 new to me things on the label or connected to it - including the entire back catalogue of Italian Americans living in Berlin, Tale of Us...

Tasty...

Also, I located the tracks for and successfully compiled, the Detroit 1969-71 set, suggested during yesterday's shopping trip...

Lunch, was a salad...

Tea was a baked potato - with unconventional but tasty filling...

A couple of bonus tracks for the "Schoenberg Webern Berg" LP worked on today too - each incorporating all the tracks on the main album - one with added drums...

...and I noted from looking back through this that today is my iPod's 7th birthday - it's on its last legs -

Apple you are shit...

On telly tonight, an impressive 135 on "University Challenge"...

I think that'll do...

Highlight of the Day : New discoveries...
