Up late again...

Things were waiting...

To busness...

...wait...coffee first...

Updating the playlist based on Clemency Burton-Hill's "A Year of Wonder", re a classical piecea day..

Took things forward to the end of February - which necessitated partaking of a couple of new and tasty things re CPE Bach and, new to me Norwegian living in New York composer, Gjeilo...

Breakfast...

Mid morning, these arrived...

An 8CD box set with only 4 CDs in it - which was disappointing - even thoug I was later able to download the content of the mising CDs...

I await a response to my enquiry...

..and this, which contains some wonderful piano pieces...

Random records of the day were enjoyed...

This was one of the few which I still didn't have digitally but I gathered all the tracks together and Robert was my uncle...

A party record of 12" single disco stompers, bought in Munich in 1979....

Reminds me of staying out all night going from disco to disco....

Some cracking tunes on here, quite a few not that well known...

Rather annoying for the neighbours though...

Then, this classic from late 1976...

Bought on release, the first time I'd done that with a Genesis record...

I'm sure many people on here would argue it's their last good one. Not me though....

There'll always be a Knebworth shaped place in my heart for "...And Then There Were Three"...

Finally, for today, and getting a wee bit ahead of the schedule, the last of my Michael Rother LPs to be played...

Love this record...

Bought while the Exec Producer and I were living together outside Kassel in late 1980...

No more pics taken beyond the afternoon (e.g. of the salmon based tea) but I also downloaded a big set of European Choral Music to complement the English Box above...

Also partook of a few other choice items as noted in the playlist...

The new LP by Arc of Life is actually very good indeed, despite my disappointment with the first couple of tracks released on the net...

I think they may very well actually be Yes...

Also, the last Steve Howe LP - suffers as ever from his vocals but is "not bad"...

On telly, "The Bay" is drawing to a conclusion with one more to go - intriguing...

Also edited out a noise in "Verklaerte Nacht" from the new LP, deciding against its inclusion and taking a few seconds off the running time - it remains, however, in the remixes created yesterday...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : The music...
