First pic of the day - Luna waking me up...

The views this morning, lovely...

Back...

Front...

A leak discovered in the bathroom...

Plumber called, plumber subsequently arrived, plumber subsequently got down on the floor and fixed...

Initial soundtracking, 24 pieces downloaded from the Soundcloud page of Italian composer Osvaldo Coluccino, one of which is included in a 5CD box now winging its way to me following a search yesterday for yet more tuneless contemporary classical music...

Back down to Stockbridge today, to take a look around shops I had to miss yesterday due to time constraints...

These found in DEBRA's small shop...

Turns out I already have this but, nice to have physically, even if it is a wee bit beaten up...

Funky...

In the Cat and Dog Home shop, these for just 50p...

Again, it seems I have this already but I was thrown by the fact that my previous copy has a different cover - hey ho...

And this, from one of my fave pianists...

Back home, Anne was out with chum Debbie for dinner but this was behind the door...

My first new Rheostatics CD since starting this blog in March 2005...

Luna was more interested in her tea...

The new disc was added to the collection, painstakingly built up late last century and early this century...

Meanwhile, the leak remained fixed...

To cooking...

The ingredients of tonight's concoction...

Soya sauce unpictured...

Luna helped...

Some of this was added for kick...

Getting there...

Quark added...

Then, the rice...

...and some coriander for the finishing touch...

Super tasty, if I say so myself - but no-one else is going to parp my cooking trumpet (and no-one else tasted it)...

The Rheos soundtracked the culinary exercise...

Then, to the sofa with Luna to watch the hokum that was "Trancendence" with Johnny Depp...

Luna couldn't watch...

No, wait, she could...

...but wasn't too excited...

She's a lovely wee monkey...

Late on, listening to the new acquisitions and heading out to provide a lift home to a not worse for wear despite Prosecco Exec Producer...

More listening, then "Holby City" to finish the day...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : A new Rheostatics CD....
