...but only after having discovered, totally by chance re shuffleplay, that I like Cassandra Wilson - it seems, on certain occasions, there is indeed a place for vocals in jazz...

Both cats were enjoying their last day...


I forgot to mention yesterday's new boots...

Anne has finished her project...

This afternoon out for a meal at Cote for Anne's mum's birthday, which will be on Tuesday...

...as was the food - I opted for ham and melon as a starter, Anne went for the goats' cheese...


Kitty opted for calamari, as did Olly, while Jane and Bob had their own fave of steak tartare...

Very nice...


...then back to Bob & Jane's...


...where, while he wanted one, Rafa did not get...


...a celebratory cake...


Kitty was posing for the camera...


We headed home and awaited Blair, just back from Berlin, popping over to pick up our visitors...



Mia did not want to leave...


...but, eventually, they were both ready to go...



I closed the day with some music, listening back to the proposed LP...
