Up super early...

...before the sun...

Much of today was spent readying the files for the proposed compilation of my early works...

Cassettes aplenty...

A trip to the doc re my ongoing infected leg -  a possible tic bite (presumably from our visit to Glen Orchy), or cellulitis from an insect bite, being the diagnosed possibilities - leading to a course of anti-biotics and anti-histamine/steroid cream...

This afforded a chance to partake of some 50p bargains at the Cancer Hospice shop...

In the afternoon, with work having halted on the bathroom due to the joiner not being available till tomorrow, we popped to Ikea and, mainly, looked at stuff...

A couple of small purchases were made before we rewarded ourselves for the upheaval re the work on the house, by visiting the Secret Garden for coffee and cake...

Anne found an oddity...

Hmmm...

And I tried to get pics of a bee...

It really is a beautiful wee spot...

They have set up a gin distillery and, here, are growing coriander as one of the ingredients...

I finally captured a bee...

It was nice but a bit stormy out...

...so much so that the pigs preferred to sleep indoors...

More bees...

...and goats in the distance...

...and I do like a silver birch...

Back home, with my Proms box set CDs dropping off the "last 100" shelf in the living room, before putting them away in the commemorative box, I read the accompanying book from cover to cover...

Very interesting indeed...

The evening was spent on more ensuring files were ready re the German project...

And the day was rounded off with a better than it has been recently, "Holby City"...

Highlight of the Day : The Secret Garden...
