Awoke to the sounds of Golden Earring...
Then, up...
Started to go through LPs on the hard drives which are not yet notated with their year of release...
This led to listening to Arild Anderson, EWF and, then, Fripp & Eno's tape loops which were used in Paris in 1975...
Then some quasi-Jethro Tull via the dropbox, from Indiana Twitterchum Tony Isch...
Soon, it was time for breakfast, post a nip to the Grocery Store for eggs...
Cooked two ways...
Then, to work on the backing tracks for the new project - in particular "I Have Lost My Spark", "No Last Tilt" and, at some considerable length re adding back elements of the original recording from 2009, "We Drove"...
The 49 minute backing track soundtracked the journey to my mum's at Loanhead and then back into town for tea at Keith and Maureen's...
A full house...
In all, 12 present but not all pictured...
In September, we will once again play host to Mia and Nico...
Nico is getting big...
A lift home for Mary, accompanied by the music of Jadin...
Then, recording a run through of the revised proposed set re the proposed new LP...
It seems I'd already forgotten the nice wee things I was doing in yesterday's run through...
Idiot...
Sound-wise though, this is slightly better, albeit with a few minor errors...
Late on some King Crimson...
This LP opened my ears to a whole new world of improvisation and, frankly, tuneless classical music - which I, of course, now adore!
Weekend over...
Highlight of the Day : Musicking...
