Up early...

...with the full intention of updating this re the last couple of days and more of the German Tour but got sucked in instead to deleting all the single tracks that have seeped into my phone via playlists...

Accordingly, around 8:30, to breakfasting with the now arisen Exec Producer...

Despite how this looks on the yumtastic-scale, I can confirm that low sugar Baked Beans are, frankly, rank...

Anne got busy with some painting...

...while I took down the equipment to transport to Roslin for today's session and moved all my books around...

Once again we were a quartet but I didn't have to learn any new parts - Paul was absent due to back problems - this is what happens when the average age of your group is over 55...

I had to finish early today to get back home and into town for a show at the Fringe so we stopped at 3 for coffee...

...and a sliver of Moira's homemade Victoria Sponge with Chloe's chocolate strawberries, to celebrate John's recent birthday...

Candles were blown out...

...and knives were wielded...

The EP was pleasantly surprised when I arrived back at Crispycat Towers slightly before the previously agreed time...

Unloaded and into town in plenty of time for this at 5pm...

90 minutes of absolutely hilarious top notch comedy as the Pro-Brexit Pub Landlord came up with plans as to how to save the day, while involving the first few rows of the audience in clever deprecating banter...

No photos allowed until the very end when he gave everyone a wave (and then the Vs)...

At one point he instigated a singalong to Queen's "I Want to Break Free" and went round the audience asking if anyone played guitar and would they volunteer to do the solo. Look who ended up shredding it onstage...

None other than King Crimson's Jakko Jakszyk...

That was a bonus...

A walk around the Meadows to a nice wee Southern Indian restaurant at Tollcross, Nilgiri Spice...

Extreme tastiness...

...which met with the approval of Mrs & Mr CBQ...

Back home around 9 and a documentary re Romesh Ranganathan visiting Mongolia entertained, before I headed upstairs to set the equipment back up...

Somehow it seemed tidier than before...

Lights out on yet another weekend...

Highlight of the Day : Al Murray...
