Then, a visit from new kid on the block, Sid...

She did not come in...

Over to the infirmary in the afternoon to visit my mum and gee her on to do some walking about...

We did not mention that today was the seventh anniversary of Sister Pam finally slipping away...

On the way home, some shopping - I picked up these - raved about by Nashville chum Chris Schappert on the Twitter recently...

Hopes were high but, sadly, no better really than Quorn...

Later, the last in the current, extremely disappointing series of "Dr Who" - the worst since its revival in 2005...

This episode was pretty good - but only in comparison to those which preceded it in the series - which is not saying much..

Oh well, i'll still watch on New Year's Day...
