As usual, up early - finalising the unlistened to music project - I'd put too much on the phone and had to take some off...

Anyway, out into the mist for breakfast provisions...

Home for breakfast with Anne and a visit from Fang the Black Cat...

At 11, took Anne to her mum's for today's travesty of justice as Scotland's newest club beat the Jam Tarts with an offside goal and multiple unpunished offences...

On the way back, popped into the Cancer Research shop and obtained these for just five of your English pounds
Nice haul...

Some ripping of these then, at 1, bassist (drummer) Keith arrived for the trip out to Roslin...

A gig in February is in the offing and we were working on new material which, most probably, will not be ready by then...

First time with the quintet set up in the dining room...

Here, without me and Stu...

...as we prepped in the living room...

Some pics by Stu...

The afternoon was one of ups, downs and ups - we rounded things off with a few of the songs we know pretty well, which buoyed the situation...

Chloe was in attendance...

...as was Moira...

Over to Anne's mum's for tea...

Kitty despaired at the chat of reality TV shows...

...but was fine at home time...

..and Olly adopted a stance whilst getting his jacket on...

Home and more ripping while Anne watched "Strictly"...

Then, this week's "Dr Who" - pretty good, although fans seemed dismayed at what could have been an iconic scene which, it seems, was ruined by the writer's decision to include a frog...

Best so far of a bad bunch though...

One to go then New Year...

Today's artwork, "Three of Five"...

Highlight of the Day : Playing with the boys...
