Once again, Merry Xmas Everybody...

Up around 4:15 to take some painkillers - I foolishly cut back on them yesterday and extreme pain in the ribs ensued overnight...

Back to bed but up again just before six to find cat carnage...

...and much cat mucking about...

Later, once again, all was quiet...

Anne eventually arose for present opening...

...including wee stockings for the cats, left by their now in Bali mum and dad...

Nico likes wrapping paper...

As usual, a nice selection received...

...by both your correspondent (above) and his Exec Producer (below)...

A visit from a surprised to find interlopers in the house Fang the Usual Interloping Black Cat...

Hmmm...

Poor wee Fang headed off sans expected Xmas treats...

All was quiet...

The 21st annual Milano Jukebox was enjoyed and chocolate was eaten...

...and misbehavior reconvened...

...followed by some more calm...

At 1, over to Loanhead to pick up my mum, diagnosed yesterday with two new infections and on antibiotics but doing ok...

To sister Sheila's, where a new rug was unveiled for an 88 year old lady...

...and a three year old boy, watched by his mum and dad, was duly wrapped up in it...

...with one of his many, many dinosaurs...

A home made card featured his hand and footprints...

As ever he was festooned with presents...

Ali and Julie came suitably dressed...

The boy returned from outside with some ferns to feed his new dinosaur...

New boots for Grandad...

Dinosaur books for Wee Dougie...

Chaos...

Lackie also the centre of attention...

...as he attempted his first steps...

...and he and his brother vied for their mother's port...

Around the table for the Xmas Dinner, expertly prepared by Sheila...

Getting to some seats was difficult...

Young Kerr bought this orange hat off me for £10 - next Xmas he will owe me over £1,400 for it if he doesn't cough up (10% per week interest)...

Look at this wee face - Kerr does not grasp the concept of compound interest...

Prawn and salmon cocktail...

Hairclip in...

Somehow, senior got way ahead of the rest of the table...

Xmas Dinner...

Senior on big plate of ice cream and cream while the rest of us started out mains...

Wee Dougie conked out - up since 4am apparently...

Julie's trifle was a hit...

...particularly with Tori...

The Wee Man enjoyed crisps and...

...erm, jelly...

...but seemed none the worse for his experience...

Uncle Ali with child and pet...

Mum got steamin'...

...not really...

And Kerr entertained...

Around 8, a tired but happy mum taken home and we were back at Crispycat Towers around 9...

Nico proceeded to stink the house out with the stinkiest, smelliest shite in Christendom...

...and then, acted as an innocent doorstop...

Anne caught up with "Corrie" and I enjoyed some funky music and some Gentle Giant remixes on the headphones...

A good day...

Merry Xmas...

Today's artwork, "Carnage"...

Highlight of the Day : It was Christmas Day...
