Up super early...

Working on the recording of the Capital Models gig from, unbelievably, 14 weeks ago today - and, finally, issuing the tracks out to the boys for them to have a listen...

Also, seven (count 'em) podcasts uploaded - the part 2's of this year's volumes 1-5, my Top 20 UK Number 1 singles - all recorded over the last couple of weeks, with minimal, if any, chat - plus this week's actual programme - 30 tracks of superbness...

On the Twitter - chum Sid Smith slated a documentary on Roxy Music on BBCFour last night which I didn't see - I suggest people just watch this and make up their own minds and maybe do some background reading instead of a slapdash talking heads pile o pish...

Also inspired by Twitter - by the Dancing Monk - from whom I recently bought my second iPod Classic - listening to my playlist of 500 years of music - 10 classical pieces from each of the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries - while doing some background reading...

Nice...

At 10, as arranged, the arrival of drummer/bassist Keith....

But no drumming or bassing took place - instead, he was very kindly sorting out some roof work...

Post work, some coffee, lovely biscuits and music chat - accompanied by the Squirrel...

Then, down to Corstorphine to trawl the charity shops to find some books for my mum to read to stave off the boredom of hospital life...

Two secured - erm, along with these tasty treats...

In the afternoon, took Anne to her mum's for today's triumph by the Jam Tarts, 1-0 over the Steel Men of Motherwell - while, in Dingwall, Queens snuck into 4th position with a well earned away 1-1 draw against Ross County, sans Mr Dobbie...

Meanwhile, your correspondent was back at the infirmary...

Mum was pleased with her raggedy second hand books...

...and took a walk along the corridor...

Alison Reilly, yes...

She was pretty good - better at walking than I've seen her on previous "visits" to this establishment...

Out into the dark...

A year ago tomorrow, a picture of this very wall adorned the cover of my LP "Disquietmusik" - tomorrow, the Berlin Wall will adorn the second volume...

The walk back to the car...

...watched by crows...

Hello Mr Crow...

Back where I'd started...

Home and some ripping and listening to the new boxes - on Anne's return, very tasty steak pie tea and the semi-final of "Strictly", followed by more ripping and listening...

Sibelius rocks...

And the new album, uploaded to Bandcamp for release tomorrow...

To bed near midnight...

Today's artwork, "Oxygen Tower"...

Highlight of the Day : Prep for release...
