Cat havoc ahoy...

Recorded the music for today's podcast but not the links...

Out late morning over to Leith to check out the market...

Disappointing...

Good skies though...

On along the coast to North Berwick...

At Quality Street...

...opposite the car park where sister Pam and I, in the late 60s, had a competition to see how long we could sit in our mum and dad's car with all the windows up in the baking heat...

...there was no baking heat today, but there was fish and white pudding and chips for lunch...

Watched over...

...by these cats...

A walk around the town resulted in three purchases at the BHF shop - Itzak Perlman, Bill Nelson and Greenslade...

Then to "Why Not?" for coffees and tray bakes in nice surroundings, next to their roaring fire...

The salted caramel rocky road was a tasty end of year indulgence...

A further walk....

...finding Steampunk, recently declared by Anne's mum to be the best coffee place in the world...

We will partake next time...

Back to the car...

A rock which seemed much larger when I was a child...

Managed just and no more to stay awake on the drive home...

I ripped and listened and recorded the rest of the podcast in rather a convoluted, frustrating and annoying way and finally got it out...

Anne made carrot, coriander and spinach soup - tasty...

Hearts beat Hibs away from home 1-0 - Anne delighted - Queens drew 1-1 at home to league leaders Ayr Ud...

The cats were not bothered about either of these results...

Today's artwork, third last in the series of 365, "Steampunk Campervan"...

Highlight of the Day : A trip along the coast...
