Up reasonably early...

A wee chum was in the garden...

Breakfast with W F Bach...

...accompanied by a robin...

The music of Wolfgang Rihm, from this year's Proms, also entertained on the iPlayer...

Out just after 10 and over to Silverknowes...

Our target was Cramond Island - accessible only for a few hours a day,due to the tides...

This, the view downstream...

We were under a much used flight path....

A wee hairy chum spotted...

On to the slippy pathway...

...and over...

...and some exploring...

...and enjoying of views...

The Cloudland Blue Mobile was visible in the distance...

The beast was about its business on Cramond Island...

...and back...

...to the Boardwalk Beach Club...

...our goal having been achieved...

...and awards now to be enjoyed...

Back home, Anne did some tending to the garden while I recorded the next podcast, well ahead of time...

In the evening, a very tasty prawn and chorizo pasta was accompanied by more from the Proms, an analysis of the final movement of Mozart's Symphony 41 in C, the Jupiter Symphony, followed by something Mozart himself never got to do - we listened to it being played - a very impressive performance, from memory, by the Aurora Orchestra...

Later on, "One of Us" continued to be quite dreadful and "Holby" was not the best...

Not to worry...

A good day nonetheless...

Highlight of the Day : A visit to Cramond Island...
